1. What this privacy policy covers

We want you to feel safe online. The security and protection of your personal data (hereinafter referred to as "data") is a priority at work cobby GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "cobby") and we do everything possible to protect your data. However, we need to use data in order to offer and improve our services and our customer service. For this reason, we would like to inform you about how we handle personal data that is collected within our online offering and the associated websites, functions and contents as well as external online presence, such as our social media profile. By providing personal data via the website, you expressly agree that we may collect and use all such data as described in this privacy policy.

3. Definition of terms used

4. Handling of personal data

We will not pass on your personal data to third parties unless we are obliged to do so by law or you have given your consent in accordance with the following paragraphs. Affiliated companies and group companies of cobby are not considered third parties.

5. No storage of payment information

We do not store or request credit card information ourselves. Credit card payments are processed by external service providers.

6. Principle

By becoming a member of cobby, you agree that we and the auxiliary persons and service providers (e.g. credit investigators) called in by us may process your personal data for the establishment and administration of your membership relationship as well as for the execution and processing of your transactions initiated via the websites of cobby. As auxiliary persons and service providers, we use partners from Germany and abroad as well as European affiliated companies or group companies, which among other things operate server and backup infrastructure for us. When selecting our auxiliary persons and service providers, we take special care to ensure that any personal data transmitted is anonymised and processed exclusively within the scope of the respective contractual purpose and is not passed on to third parties.

7. Your surfing data in particular

By visiting the websites of cobby you agree that we collect, process and also use your surfing data in connection with the use of cobby with the help of electronic aids. 10. Contradict storage of cookies

12. Google Analytics

On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO) we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC ("Google"). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the website by the user is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states which are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the user's browser is not merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and relating to their use of the online offer to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. 13. Google Tag Manager

On the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO TagManager, which is a tool of the provider Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). This service allows website tags to be managed through an interface. 15. Publication of member names and ratings

By becoming a member of cobby, you agree that we may make your member name, registration date, rating profile and the rating comments you have left for other members publicly available to all visitors to the cobby website. You then agree to the publication of information that you enter as part of the "Questions & Answers" function or the rating function. We cannot accept any responsibility if third parties (for example search engine operators) disseminate the information you have published on cobby on the Internet.

16. Publication of contributions in discussion forums

18. Transmission of contact data after conclusion of contract

By becoming a member of cobby, you agree that we may transfer the stored contact data to the respective contractual partner for the purpose of processing a contract concluded via cobby. Furthermore, we can transfer the total amount outstanding as well as your personal data to a debt collection agency in cases of default.

19. Use for advertising purposes

By becoming a member of cobby, you agree that we may process and use your personal data for marketing measures such as sending e-mails with general information or advertising character (newsletter, e-mails for information purposes). We may also pass on the data to auxiliary persons in Switzerland and abroad as well as affiliated companies and group companies that advertise on our behalf. cobby may contain links to third party websites. cobby is not responsible for the privacy practices or the collection and use of personal information, or the content of such websites. 21. Social Media Plugins

On cobby, functions (so-called plugins) of various third-party social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) are integrated. These plugins enable visitors to share content in social networks. If a plugin appears while surfing on the website (e.g. "Like-Button" from Facebook), a connection to the servers of this website is automatically established. In the process, data about your visit to cobby may be transmitted to this third party. By becoming a member of cobby, you agree that we may collect, process, use and disclose, as far as it is necessary in individual cases and if there are plausible indications, those personal data that are necessary to uncover and stop fraudulently posted offers and other illegal or non-contractual use of the services of cobby. 23. Storage and use after termination of transactions or your membership
